I've been feeling a bit moody and tired lately and am truly craving summer, sunshine and most of all for school to end. I have been seeing ruffles everywhere lately and they feel so free and cheerful - which is just what I wish I was right now!! They are such an adorable detail to a shirt or dress making  an outfit feel that bit more bouncy and floaty.

Having escaped to the South of France of the last couple of weeks I thought it was about time to share a few pictures and updates. The first week I was an only child as my brother was away with friends. I mainly just chilled, revised a bit and mooched around watching tons of crap movies that we leave down in our house including classics like My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Valentines Day (as well as quite a few episodes of modern family because it turns out French Netflix is SO much better that the English one) It felt so good to finally have a dose of sunshine even though most of the second week consisted of cloudy, grey and rainy skies. In the second week  my brother and one of best friends, Isis, along with her lovely family stayed with us. And even though we failed to be very adventurous or do very much we hugely enjoyed the company of each other and the peacefulness of the surroundings.  I have curated a couple of my favourite photos and some that just show what I was up to ( the one with all revision notes and books for example). In the top left Isis and I sat outside watching the sun set over the vin yards with our favourite film playing on my laptop : Notting Hill. It was the most perfect and "hyggelig" scene with everything from cups of tea to four blankets bundled around each of us. We also went of a few walks through the local area picking wildflowers and on the last day we spent some time in Marseille visiting the brutalist architect Le Corbusier's iconic Unite d'Habitation as pictured (the cutie against the red wall).

I am craving summer now.....

Last night I was lucky enough to be off to the O2 Arena for the Brit Awards 2016!!! I was invited by my lovely friend Sophia and her family. We were sitting quite low down in stands and really had quite a good overview of everyone and everything including the numbers celebs dining on the floor below as well as the artists performing on the stage. The night was jam packed with music performances including from Rihanna and her guest star drake , Jess Glynne, Justin Bieber, James Bay and of course the all fabulous and awe-inspiring Adele. Not only did she pick up almost every single award it seems but she shared her true emotion in her thank you speeches as well as performing, of course as amazingly as you would imagine, my favourite song of her's : when we were young. Sophia and I could not help but sing our hearts out to her standing there so perfectly in her sparkling dress and the rest of the stadium who I am guessing my the applause were in as much admiration as us.   Obviously Justin was also one of my most anticipated acts, although his singing wasn't really all that incredible, I was still completely over excited simply because it was HIM!!! It was such a fun and star studded night that I thought  it would be not only be something perfect to share with you but also to save for later memories of my own!

It is finally half term and I spent the first couple of days of the holiday roaming London with my Danish cousin, visiting from Copenhagen. We enjoyed two days of shopping, caféing and lunching in the February sunshine.  

In the above pictures I am wearing my latest purchase: a pair of flared jeans. They are "low-rise" and quite loose fitted in a perfect dark blue denim colour. I am not the tallest of people and so was very weary of going for flares but decided to finally go for it after seeing them every wear in fashion this and last season. They are so unbelievably comfortable and so perfect with a pair of sneakers like I am sporting above. I am wearing a basic light grey cashmere roll-neck jumper from trusty uniqlo as well as my favourite forest green faux fur. Finally I of-course took the rare opportunity to wear my sunnies in London's gorgeous winter sun.

I'll be enjoying the rest of the holiday catching up with friends homework and hopefully netflixing a great deal in my PJs on my sofa.

We are in the midst of winter's dark and foreboding gloom - its January and it sucks. The probably the reason why I've not been posting recently is the lack of inspiration. I rally want to post more of my own outfits and pictures but becuae its been so cold and gross outside I can't get my self to do anything other than snuggle up in my duvet nevertheless I've also had loads of homework to plough through as I changed from economics to photography a-level at the end of last term. All these stupid little ostablcles have been stopping me from just getting a post up and done and ready.

Hopefully there is some more exciting content on its way - happy monday!

I'm obsessed with my new faux fur coat in its amazing forest green colour and although I do look a bit like a fluff ball it is definalely my favourite thing in my wardrobe at the moment and it will keep me nice and toasty though out the winter. I have also been seeing loads of  coloured furs around recently such as the fabulous but crazily expensive ones from Shrimps and even this and this from trusty old asos.

I have three day left of school before christmas and I cannot wait !!!!
